Nick's Dilemma - An educational game about Sales Management

Nick's Dilemma is a game-like, case-based learning environment in the genre of a narrative text adventure game. You are presented with the challenge of solving a hiring problem in a sales management scenario in a health equipment sales company setting.

Game Description

Take on the role of the protagonist who is being coached through a problem by his/her mentor and boss, Sheila. Discover the backstory that the company has had significant turnover for a sales management position, and the company needs to find a candidate for the position who will be a long-term employee. Choose from a series of options for how you might proceed, with your selections affecting how the narrative storyline unfolds.

You have control over which stories to reference and the order in which the stories are accessed while working towards a problem solution. As you progress through the story, obstacles are introduced. You explore these obstacles by reading stories that are told by other employees.
